This excellent short film by Norwegian filmmaker Morton Rustad gives us an appropriate entry point through a visual contemplation of the tidal dynamics of the Bay of Fundy, which includes Passamaquoddy Bay.

It is easy to see that time-lapse videography gives the viewer a very particular perspective that we do not have otherwise.
